Failon's wife dies in ICU

The wife of broadcast journalist Ted Failon was taken off life-support at the New Era Hospital, radio reports said, as her condition deteriorated.
Trinidad Etong, 45, remained in critical condition from a gunshot wound to the head inflicted at their home in Quezon City.
Doctors at the New Era Hospital declared her brain dead from a bullet wound in her left temple.
Police said the incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. yesterday at the couple’s home.
